Rind and Wheat, a specialty bakery and cheese shop located in Spokane, has carved a niche for itself by offering an array of artisan breads, handcrafted pastries, and a curated selection of cheeses and wines. The shop prides itself on its commitment to quality, crafting each item with care and using high-quality, often locally sourced ingredients to ensure a delightful choice for its customers.

The new owner of Rind and Wheat reached out for a website update shortly after acquiring the shop from its original owner. The existing website contained content that reflected the narrative and vision of the previous owner and featured an online purchasing process that was not user-friendly. Additionally, the website’s design and functionality did not allow for easy updates, hindering the shop’s ability to regularly refresh its web pages with new stories, products, and promotions.

In response to Rind and Wheat’s needs, our team completed a comprehensive website overhaul. We focused on reorganizing the website’s content and improving the user interface to create a more engaging and intuitive experience for visitors. A significant part of our work involved simplifying the online purchasing process, making it easier for customers to buy Rind and Wheat’s products directly from the website. We also implemented a more user-friendly content management system, empowering the Rind and Wheat team to independently update their website as needed, ensuring that it promotes their evolving offerings.
